for a warm welcome
Guests are welcomed into a familiar, warm atmosphere: a splendid Sicilian residence where wishes are immediately fulfilled. To convey this feeling of warmth and hospitality, we have followed the construction of Villa Angela step by step, with care and attention to every detail through the years, to ensure it has all the comforts that we ourselves would enjoy.
Each morning guests can discover the typical flavours of Sicily with our rich and natural buffet breakfast whilst enjoying the splendid views of Mount Etna and the Bay of Naxos from our pool – restaurant terrace. Breakfast from 07:45 to 10:30.
Solarium and pool
The pool solarium is ideal for soaking up hours of beautiful sunshine in total relax by our refreshing open pool. Poolside drinks service available. The restaurant provides a tempting menu and is open from 12.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., while the snack service is available until 9.30 p.m.
Taormina and more
Services in Taormina include wellness centres, hairdressers, tennis courts and, of course, various water sports such as diving, wind surfing, paddle-boarding and sea fishing. Try horseback riding in the local countryside or along the beach, for beginners too, or rafting in the Alcantara Gorge. On the slopes of Mount Etna, a prestigious golf club and numerous vineyards, all offering wine-tasting and all worth a visit!
Rooftop bar terrace
Our rooftop bar terrace is the perfect spot from which to absorb the incredible panorama Villa Angela is so fortunate to enjoy and, at the end of the day, guests can marvel at some of the most spectacular sunsets in Sicily… or even a volcanic eruption!
Shuttle bus service
The hotel’s frequent private shuttle bus service will transport you in comfort to the centre of Taormina in just 5-10 minutes (small supplement).
Free WiFi
Villa Angela offers free wireless connection throughout the hotel, together with a laptop which is available to guests at any time of the day.

Let us help you make the most of your time here in Sicily; there’s so much to see and do! All the information you could possibly wish for regarding visits to the most interesting and picturesque areas of Sicily, such as Siracusa, Agrigento, Mount Etna, the Aeolian Islands, or just a simple cable car ride down to the splendid bays which surround Taormina. Whether you prefer a tailor-made private tour or an off-road trip up the volcano, we can assist!
Taormina center
Only a short stroll from the hotel’s shuttle bus stop you will find the main street, Corso Umberto, with its designer boutiques, fabulous restaurants, shops with every flavour of delicious ice-cream and bars that are perfect for people-watching… and you’ll have your fill of amazing architecture in the form of palazzi and churches, arches and alleyways.
Let's go to the theater
During the warmer months, you can delight your senses at a performance in the open air Greek Theatre with its magical atmosphere, whatever the show, and stunning views of the volcano from its vantage point, carefully chosen by the ingenious Ancient Greeks. The smaller open air Roman Odeon tucked away just off the Corso is another interesting venue for summer events.
Taormina's beaches
For those who seek the laid-back life under a parasol on one of Taormina’s beaches, we liaise with some of the best bathing establishments in the area in order to offer a special price for hotel residents. Beach facilities for our guests: €20-€35 per person, including transport.
